Small Site Studio

The Idea
Small Site Studio was born out of a simple idea: small businesses deserve high-quality websites without the high costs, slow timelines, or confusing agency processes. Most small business owners either go without a proper site or end up with something outdated and underwhelming — not because they don't care, but because the process feels inaccessible.
This project set out to change that. I created a productised web design studio with three clear, affordable packages. Each one is designed to fit the actual needs of small business owners — no jargon, no drawn-out timelines, and no surprise pricing. The goal was to make world-class design feel easy and accessible to people who need it most.

The Build
The site was designed and built with simplicity in mind. I used a minimal black-and-white aesthetic to give it a clean, timeless feel — like a blank canvas. The background has a subtle paper texture to give it warmth, and I used hand-drawn icons and stickers to add personality without overcomplicating the design.
I built the site in Webflow, designed everything in Figma, and used ChatGPT to help generate unique visual elements like icons. Booking is handled through Cal.com, allowing clients to get started quickly and easily.
One of the trickiest parts was defining the right packages. After speaking with business owners and testing different formats, I landed on three tiers: a single-page site for smaller businesses or personal brands, a 5–10 page site for growing companies, and an enterprise-level option for larger, more complex builds. Each package balances speed, value, and flexibility.
What I Shipped
The final result is a fully responsive, modern one-page website that clearly communicates what Small Site Studio offers. Visitors can quickly understand the differences between packages, explore FAQs, and book a call — all within a single scroll.
Design-wise, I focused on clarity and visual hierarchy. The interactive cursor and carousel add a touch of delight without distracting from the core message. Every section was built with conversion in mind, making it easy for users to understand and act.
The Outcome
After launch, Small Site Studio picked up 11 paying clients in its first two months — all from organic traffic and word of mouth. The response was immediate and positive, with several clients leaving 5-star Google reviews.
More importantly, the feedback confirmed that the model works. Small business owners felt seen and supported, and they loved how straightforward the process was from start to finish.

"I wanted to make good websites more accessible for everyone — and with the rise in tech, that's finally possible."
Final Thoughts
Small Site Studio has been a real proof of concept. Productising my design service not only made my own workflow smoother, it made things clearer and faster for clients too. There's no back-and-forth on scope, no surprise costs — just a straightforward path to a professional website.
Next steps include adding more automation, showcasing real client work, and exploring add-ons for recurring revenue. But for now, Small Site Studio is doing exactly what it was meant to do — helping small businesses look their best online.
